In our Creator Spotlight series we highlight some of the best work of our talented Jumprope creators across all categories. Today’s feature is of Rachel and Tiernan Ennis!
Name: Rachel and Tiernan Ennis ( and their daughter Wendy)
Based in: Dublin, Ireland
Occupation: Tiernan is an Irish tour guide and Rachel is a Kiwi global mobility specialist
Creates: “We started Celt & Kiwi to follow our family journey around the world and, hopefully, help other families to move their lives abroad, too. I think a lot of families are trying to figure out how to fit more exploration into family life — which is super busy no matter whether you’re living the nomadic life or have a base in the suburbs. We talk a lot on the blog about taking a family gap year and travelling slow. Really connecting to the places we visit is important to us, we want to know what life is like rather than hit up the main tourist attractions and move on. We like to travel slowly, sustainably and shop local — if that sounds like you, we’ll have a lot to talk about.”
Favorite thing about Jumprope: “…being able to follow people’s footsteps. You really get to see a city through the eyes of the people who live there. What are their favorite things to do? Where do they life to eat? Those are the things I want to know.”
For all the new video creators out there wanting to make content, Rachel says, “Stop second guessing yourself. Seriously. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been paralyzed by wondering if someone has already done my idea. Or that maybe someone else can do it better. I’m here to tell you that you are the perfect person to be creating. Your story is important and people want to hear it.”
